Selected Works
Director and editor of a 2017 short documentary on artist June Leaf in New York City. Selected for a carte blanche by Sara Driver at the Thessaloniki Documentary Festival in 2018. It will screen at Anthology Film Archives in fall 2025, alongside the exhibition June Leaf: Shooting from the Heart.
Co-editor of THUS LOVE's music video for their debut single, shot in Brattleboro, Vermont, in 2021. Featured in Rolling Stone in 2022.

Brigid has over three years of experience at Crash Course, a YouTube series dedicated to producing and distributing free educational content online. She has served as video editor on a number of projects, including Biology 2.0, Art History, and Political Theory. Additionally, she has contributed to the development of new series formats, including the long-form, documentary-style Crash Course lecture on tuberculosis.
About
Brigid Kennison (she/they)
Brigid is a Chicago-based filmmaker and editor with a background in documentary film. Her projects often explore memory, history, and complex stories about the ugly and beautiful parts of being alive. Brigid has had work featured at the Thessaloniki Documentary Festival (2018) and in Rolling Stone magazine (2022). A graduate of Sarah Lawrence College with a B.A. in Filmmaking & Moving Image Arts and Italian, Brigid has continued to grow their practice at Crash Course, where they’ve honed their editing across a wide range of styles. This experience has deepened Brigid's belief in the moving image as a way to educate, entertain, challenge, and remind us of the essential role humor plays in art.
